We build technology around how businesses actually run

Astera Infotech is a technology and business services company in Coimbatore. We build software and grow online visibility — for organisations where the constraint is capacity rather than ambition.

Two practices, because building it and being found are the same job

Most companies our clients’ size end up managing two suppliers — a developer who builds the thing, and an agency paid to make it visible. Each knows half the picture, and the gap between them is where things get dropped.

We do both from one office. The people who build your website are the ones who have to rank it — so speed, structure and schema get built in rather than retrofitted, and a technical SEO fix ships in the same week instead of becoming a ticket for another vendor. That loop is genuinely difficult to reproduce across separate suppliers, and it’s the main reason clients who start with one practice usually add the other.

We’re not trying to be the largest firm in Coimbatore. We’re trying to be the one a growing business can hand a problem to without having to specify the solution first.

The practices
  • Software Development

Websites, mobile apps, and internal systems built around your actual workflows — scoped honestly, delivered in stages you can see.

  • Digital Marketing

SEO, social, and paid campaigns judged on one thing: how many qualified enquiries they produced, and what each one cost.

Based in

No 162, 2nd Floor, Balasundaram St, Kamathenu Nagar, Avarampalayam Road, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641006, India

Clients here can sit across a table from us. Everyone else gets the same process over calls and shared environments — most of the work is remote regardless.

How we work

Four things we hold to

Not values on a wall. Each of these is something a client could hold us to, and occasionally has.

We say what something will cost before doing it

Scope in writing, priced per stage, approved before work starts. If a change pushes the cost up, you hear it before it's built rather than on the invoice.

We'd rather lose a project than build the wrong thing

We've told clients to build a mobile website instead of an app, to keep the software they already had, and to automate a task rather than pay us to do it manually. That conversation is cheaper for everyone than the alternative.

Everything is in your name

Code, repositories, hosting, domains, ad accounts, analytics. Handed over in writing. Nobody should be locked into a vendor by their own infrastructure.

We stay reachable

One office, in Coimbatore, and a phone number that a person answers. The relationship is meant to outlast the project it started with.

What to expect

The same standards on every engagement

Business first, technology second

We start with what the work costs you today and what it should cost. The technology choice follows from that, not the other way round.

Built to grow into

Systems sized for where you're heading, not just where you are — without paying today for scale you won't need for years.

Still here after launch

Based in Coimbatore and reachable on a phone call. Most of our work comes from clients we're still working with.

Nothing hidden

Written scope, priced stages, and accounts that stay in your name. You'll always know what's being done and what it costs.

Why Astera Infotech

What actually makes us different

Not adjectives. Six commitments you can hold us to, and check us on.

01

Built and ranked by the same team

Most agencies stop at the code and hand you to someone else for visibility. Here the people building your site are the ones who have to make it rank — so a technical SEO fix ships in the same week instead of becoming an email to another vendor. That loop is what two separate suppliers can't reproduce.

02

Scoped in writing, priced per stage

Not one number against a vague brief, and not an open-ended hourly meter. Each stage is defined, priced, and approved on its own — so you can stop after any stage and still have something that works.

03

You own everything

Source code, repositories, hosting, domains, ad accounts, analytics, and anything we document. All in your name, handed over in writing. We don't hold infrastructure as a retention strategy.

04

We'll tell you not to buy it

We've advised clients to build a mobile website instead of an app, keep the software they already have, and automate a task rather than pay us to do it. Losing one project costs us less than delivering something that shouldn't have been built.

05

Engagements that flex

Project work, monthly retainers, or a block of hours. Marketing and maintenance run month to month — if it isn't working, you should be able to stop without a contract arguing otherwise.

06

Coimbatore, working anywhere

Clients here can sit across a table from us, which some prefer for scoping. Everyone else gets the same process over calls and shared environments, at a cost base that metro agencies can't match.

Our process

How an engagement runs

Whichever practice you start with, the shape is the same — and you can stop after any stage with something that works.

  1. 01

    Discover

A working session on what the problem actually costs you. We ask what happens today, who does it, and where it breaks.

  2. 02

    Plan

Written scope, staged delivery, and a price per stage. You approve before anything gets built.

  3. 03

    Build

Two-week cycles with something working to look at each time. You react to software, not to documents.

  4. 04

    Launch

Testing on real devices, migration, redirects, analytics, and a dry run. We're on hand through the first week.

  5. 05

    Support and improve

Monitoring, fixes, and a backlog we work through together. The relationship is meant to outlast the project.

Who we help

Different businesses, recognisable problems

We work with organisations at the point where manual effort stops scaling — whatever sector that happens in.

Startups

First product out the door with a scope small enough to actually ship, and a codebase that survives the next round of changes.

Small & medium businesses

Replacing the spreadsheets and manual steps that stop being workable somewhere past a certain order volume.

Educational institutions

Admissions enquiries, student and parent communication, and the administrative work that scales with every new intake.

Professional services

Firms whose enquiries come from search and referral, where the website and follow-up decide whether an enquiry becomes a client.

E-commerce businesses

Storefront speed, product visibility in search, paid campaigns measured on return, and the support volume that comes with orders.

Growing enterprises

Established operations where the constraint is internal capacity, and the fix is a system or a team rather than another hire.

Next step

Start with a conversation, not a proposal

Tell us what's not working. You'll get an honest view on whether we can help, from someone in Coimbatore who'd actually do the work.
