Website design in Coimbatore that loads fast and ranks well

A website earns its cost by producing enquiries. We design and build sites that load in under two seconds, get found on Google, and make it obvious what a visitor should do next.

The problem

A good-looking website that nobody finds is an expensive brochure

Plenty of businesses have a website they're reasonably happy with and almost no enquiries coming through it. The design isn't the problem. The problem is that it takes six seconds to load on a 4G connection, it doesn't appear for the searches its customers actually type, and once someone does land on it, there's no obvious next step.

The other common version: the site was built four years ago on a page builder, it now has thirty plugins, and every update breaks something. Nobody wants to touch it, so nothing gets updated, so it slowly stops ranking.

Sound familiar?
  • Traffic exists but enquiries don't
  • It takes several seconds to load on a phone
  • You have to email someone to change a price or add a page
  • It doesn't show up for the services you actually sell
  • It looks broken on some phone sizes and nobody's sure which
Our approach

We build for the three things that decide whether a site works

Speed, findability, and a clear path to enquiry. Everything else is downstream of those. We build mobile-first because that's where most of your traffic is, we structure content around what people search for rather than around your org chart, and we put a way to contact you within reach on every screen.

You also get a site you can maintain. Text, images, prices, and pages are editable without calling us. What needs a developer is genuinely developer work, not routine content changes.

What's included

What's included

Mobile-first build

Designed at phone width first and tested at nine screen sizes, because two-thirds of your visitors will never see the desktop version.

Speed as a requirement

Optimised images, minimal scripts, and a target of under two seconds on a mid-range Android over 4G. Measured, not assumed.

SEO built in from the start

Clean URLs, proper heading structure, unique titles and descriptions per page, schema markup, sitemap, and internal linking.

Content you can edit

A straightforward admin area for the things that change often. No page-builder sprawl and no plugin roulette.

Enquiry paths that work

Forms that validate properly, click-to-call, WhatsApp, and a thank-you page so you can actually track conversions.

Analytics wired up

Google Analytics and Search Console configured on day one, with form submissions and calls tracked as conversions.

The outcome

What changes after launch

Enquiries you can trace
You'll know which pages produce contacts and which searches brought them, so the next round of work has evidence behind it.
Better rankings without buying them
A technically clean, fast site ranks more easily than a slow one with the same content. That advantage compounds.
Less time spent on the website
Routine changes take minutes and don't need us. Updates stop being a small project each time.
It still works in two years
Built on maintained, current technology rather than a stack of plugins that ages out.
Process

How we build a website

  1. 01

    Scope and sitemap

What pages, what each one is for, and which search intent it answers. We agree the structure before designing anything.

  2. 02

    Content and design

Design applied to real copy, not placeholder text — layouts behave differently once actual sentences are in them. Reviewed at mobile and desktop width.

  3. 03

    Build and test

Development, then a pass across real devices, screen readers, and keyboard-only navigation. Speed measured before we call it done.

  4. 04

    Launch

DNS, SSL, redirects from old URLs, analytics, Search Console, and sitemap submission. Redirects matter most — that's how rankings survive a rebuild.

  5. 05

    Watch and adjust

We check Search Console and analytics through the first month and fix what the data exposes.

Why Astera

Why us for a website

We do the SEO too

The team that builds the site is the team that has to rank it. That changes how carefully the foundations get laid.

Redirects done properly

When we replace an existing site we map every old URL to a new one. Rebuilds lose rankings mostly because nobody bothers with this.

Speed is a requirement, not a bonus

We measure Core Web Vitals before handover and won't sign off a site that fails them on mobile.

You keep control

Your hosting, your domain, your accounts, your code. Handed over in writing.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Something not answered here? Ask us directly — we answer questions before quoting, not after.

Should we use WordPress or a custom build?

WordPress makes sense when you publish a lot and want to manage everything yourself with a familiar interface. A custom build in Next.js makes sense when speed matters, when the site needs to do something specific, or when you want fewer moving parts to maintain. We'll recommend based on who's going to be editing it and how often — not on which we prefer to build.

Will a rebuild hurt our current Google rankings?

It can, and this is where most rebuilds go wrong. The fix is unglamorous: list every URL currently indexed, map each to its new equivalent, set up 301 redirects, keep the page titles and content intent intact, then resubmit the sitemap and watch Search Console for a few weeks. Done properly, rankings usually hold and often improve because the new site is faster.

How many pages do we need?

Fewer than most people expect, and more than a five-page template. One page per thing you actually want to be found for, plus the pages people need to trust you. Ten strong pages beat thirty thin ones — Google rewards depth on a topic, and thin pages dilute the site's overall quality signal.

Do you write the content?

We write it, or we edit what you have, or we work from a conversation with whoever knows the subject. Content written by someone who has never sold your service reads like it, so we'd rather interview you for an hour than invent it. This is included in the scope, not billed separately.

Is hosting included?

We set it up and can manage it, but the account stays in your name and you pay the provider directly. That's deliberate — you should never be in a position where leaving your web developer means losing your website. For most business sites hosting runs a few hundred rupees a month.

What about maintenance after launch?

Software updates, security patches, backups, uptime monitoring, and small content changes can be handled on a monthly retainer. If you'd rather manage it yourself, we hand over documentation and you're free to. We don't make maintenance compulsory.
